It Started With a Pizza Job

OUR TABLE KEEPS GROWING.

Long before DeVino’s Pizza & Pasta opened its doors, Dave Sharretts was a teenager working at the local restaurant Melo’s Pizza. It was there that Dave gained his first experience in the restaurant business and learned enough about the industry to eventually decide he wanted to open a place of his own.

With the help of family and friends, Dave turned that experience into DeVino’s Pizza & Pasta, opening the restaurant in September 1993.

The original DeVino’s was a small restaurant with room for just 50 guests. But as the years passed, the restaurant grew along with the community around it. Eventually, 50 seats simply weren’t enough. Dave expanded DeVino’s to accommodate 150 guests—three times the capacity of the original restaurant.

More than 30 years later, DeVino’s is growing once again.

What began as a teenager’s experience working at a local pizza restaurant has become a business that has served generations of guests and continued to grow alongside its community. This latest expansion marks another chapter in a story that began back in 1993—with a small restaurant, the help of family and friends, and room for just 50 people.

Today, DeVino’s is making room for more.
